Campestre is inland desert golf with Sea of Cortez vistas, not an ocean-carry course. Fairways are cut into sloping foothills, with sandy waste, flashed bunkers, and arroyos; the real defense is a set of large, heavily contoured greens.
The risk-reward par-5 7th is a double dogleg into a bunkered peninsula green. The back nine climbs a desert plateau; the 216-yard par-3 11th sits on a large green with false fronts. First Los Cabos course grassed tee-to-green in paspalum.
